亂碼2018  Decode 2018

《亂碼》是古舞團擅長的結構即興舞蹈作品。是一個舞蹈、音樂及燈光完全開放的即興演出，內容與形式充滿了隨機與自由的互動效應，每一場演出都是絕無僅有的經驗。2018年舞團25週年製作以《亂碼2018》之名再度上演此經典舞作。

《亂碼2018》的容器是時間，在一個特定的時間裡，舞者被放入舞台接受觀眾的審視。同台的還有來自不同國度的音樂家，以及一位在劇場遙遠處與我們同在的燈光設計，十四個人的命運扣在一起，從第一刻開始到舞作結束的時間為止。這段共存時間乃一個集體創作的時光，每一個人都在用自己的經驗判斷、身體特質、習慣與心性和其他的表演者對話。

這是一種極其危險的表演方式，但古舞團年復一年一直在鍛鍊的就是這樣的能力，磨刀已久，今日能拿出來亮相也是一種暢快。首先因為觀眾的觀看督促每一位舞者慎重地在過程中做所有的決定，而觀眾主動地對舞蹈發展過程的期許會使得他成為舞作進行中最重要的一部分。所以這是一場觀眾與所有表演者一起合作的演出。

The container of DECODE is time. In a specific time interval, dancers are staged to be judged by the audience. At the same time, there are two musicians from different countries and a lighting designer at the far end of the theatre. All fourteen people are tied together by one destiny from the moment the dance starts until it ends. I consider this coexistence a moment of group creation. Everyone is in dialogue with each other with his/her experiential judgement, individual character, personal habits and heart/mind. It is a very risky way of performing. Yet, it is exactly the ability/skill Ku & Dancers has been working on over the years. We are pleased to show it today, and hope that you, the audience are busy as we are on the stage. Your gaze urges us to cautiously make any decision during this time interval. Your active engagement with the development of the performance will make you an important part in this dance. This is a dance made possible only with you and us together.
